Founded by Jeff Mustin in 2015, CAS Labs is a place where real-world operational experience meets academic, scholarly expertise.
A tactician at heart, Jeff’s natural ability to analyze, strategize, and execute from a distance was further developed during a military career that began at the Air Force Academy, followed by nine years of perspective gained while serving as a fighter pilot.
While solving complex national security challenges, Jeff completed a law degree (JD), an MBA, and a Master of Arts in International Affairs from Texas Tech University in 2012. Equipped with five degrees and numerous certifications, Jeff’s breadth of knowledge in policy, business, & law set him apart. When combined with his valuable operational experience, he was well-poised to serve his country via the private sector.
